What is your dream job? My dream job is one where I will have a direct impact on society. Whether that be working in a science research lab, in the engineering field, or teaching, I want to have an influence in the world around me.
“CHS is special because of its students. I’ve met some of the most intelligent, creative, and compassionate people here at CHS.”
Who was your favorite teacher or administrator during your time at CHS? What subject did they teach? What made her or him special?
Mrs. Jahnz (Algebra 2 and AP Calculus), Mr. Dansereau (Pre-Calculus), and Mr. Henn (Holocaust Studies) are my favorite teachers at CHS. They all are passionate about their jobs, have taught me to have an open mind, and inspired me to not only become a better student but also a better person.
What is something about CHS that people might not know, but should?
It’s important to recognize the devotion of the faculty and all of the support that CHS offers. The teachers want to see you succeed and are willing to spend time outside of the classroom to help you reach your goals. The CHS faculty is approachable and helpful, and they are there to help you.
What advice would you give to next year’s ninth grade students coming to CHS?
Take advantage of all the opportunities available to you. Pursue your interests because at CHS you can. We have several successful sports teams, countless clubs, and events to get involved in. Your experience in high school is what you make of it. With the right state of mind, anything is possible.
What makes CHS special? Why?
CHS is special because of its students. The people you meet and the friends you make will only enrich your high school experience. I’ve met some of the most intelligent, creative, and compassionate people here at CHS.
